During The Night, Before The Demolition
This shot was taken an hour before the demolition of the twin cooling towers at 2am. As you can make out the towers were illuminated for the spectacle as it was watched by thousands who lined the valley roads. The Meadwhall shopping centre car park was used a s a viewing platform for many others.
